Towering high above Jackson Hole stands the Grand Teton. It is an image that has become synonomous with the west and destination for alpinists and skiers. The Grand Teton was first skied by Bill Briggs in June of 1971. He changed the ski community by introducing the idea that people can hike and ski these beasts.
